Jason Weidemann

Southern Suns basketball club is fortunate to have a dedicated and experienced club administrator to assist with member inquiries. The club’s operations are led by Jason Weidemann, our founder and General Manager.
With 30 years of coaching experience and 20 years in sports management, Jason holds tertiary qualifications in coaching, management, and administration. His expertise provides strong leadership, ensuring effective guidance and support for the club.

Committee of Management

The Committee of Management (COM) ensures the smooth operation and long-term success of the club. They oversee governance, strategic planning, financial management, operations, and community engagement, helping create a thriving environment for all members. The COM manages both the Southern Suns and South East Melbourne Magic basketball clubs, ensuring their continued growth and success.
