It was created to offer a more flexible and accessible basketball experience. Southern Suns provides a simple, no-fuss pathway for players who want to create their own teams or join with friends. Whether you're new to the game or an experienced player looking for a more relaxed approach, the Suns make it easy to get involved and enjoy basketball on your terms.

Association Information

Each competition is managed by a local basketball association affiliated with Basketball Victoria. While all competitions follow core standards, each association may differ slightly in how they run their competitions — including scheduling, age groups, competition structures, grading processes, and competition by-laws.
